Kambo

Kambo is a highly intelligent ancient medicine from the Upper Amazon that is used to cleanse, strengthen and energise the mind & body.
It is NOT psycho-active, a drug or a poison.
Due to containing multiple peptides & neuropeptides that are very similar to those found in the human body, on a physical level Kambo can be used to treat pain, inflammation, physical performance, fertility, arthritis, thyroid problems, blood pressure, cancer, libido, removing toxins from the body plus so much more.
On a mental level Kambo can be used to treat mental blockages such as anxiety, grief, addiction, shame, isolation, anger, control, detachment, fear, just to name a few.
On a spiritual level, Kambo balances our chakras, allows us to break through big blockages, gives us clarity of mind & soul and alllows a harmonious connection to essential spirit.
Consultations and completion of a medical questionnaire are mandatory before booking.

Kambô is a secretion from one of the largest Hylid frogs known as the Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog.

Its scientific name is Phyllomedusa Bicolor.

The secretion is not a sweat nor a poison in the sense that it alone is not capable of causing death, or illness. In the Amazon, it is regarded as a medicine however this should not be confused with the western definition of a medicine.

Kambô is not a medicine and those that administer it are practitioners and not doctors.

Scientists have shown that the Kambo secretion contains a unique & highly complex cocktail of Biactive Peptides that have a positive impact on the human body.

Protein synthesis and immunoglobulin (antibodies) production are examples of this. These micro functions are what pharamceutical medication attempts to replicate.

When Kambo enters the body, the cell receptors open and allow it to enter the cells. When foreign substances enter the body, the cell does not alwyas unlock automatically but has to be broken into by the unknown substance.

As a natural substance that the body recognises, it unlocks to Kambo at a cellular level with no stress to the cells. It also cleans out deposits left in the cells by foreign substances that the cell was not able to process alone.

In modern medicine there is a multitude of research projects within universities, research establishments and pharmaceutical companies to identify the chemical composition of Kambo and to look at possible medicinal uses of those components.

Several of these peptides have already been identified and synthesized and are available to purchase online and currently there are over 70 Kambo patents lodged, mainly in the USA.

Caeruleins Family – Phyllocaerulein – a neuropeptide which produces strong smooth muscle contraction (heart, gut and vascular) reduces blood pressure, modifies satiety, sedation and thermoregulation. It is also a potent analgesic.

Bradykinins Family – Phyllokinin – hypotension – a long lasting reduction in blood pressure.

Tachykinins Family – Phyllomedusin – a neuropeptide which strongly affects the salivary glands, tear ducts, intestines and bowels. It’s a powerful Vasodilator.

Bombesins Family – Phyllolitorin, Rohdei-Litorin – neuropeptides that are active in the central and peripheral nervous sytem, stimulate gastric acid secretion and smooth muscle contraction.

Sauvagine Family – Dermorphin – a heptapeptide with a potent opiate-like activity on mu-type opioid receptors, which have potent depressive and analgesic effects. Dermorphin may also have effects on pulmonary ventilation and pituitary hormone release and is 30-40 times more potent than Morphine.

Tryptophyllins – biological activity somewhat obscure but recently found to be highly potent against the yeast Candida Albicans.

Dermaseptin Family – Dermaseptin – potent antimicrobial activity against bacteria, yeast, fungi, protozoa and enveloped viruses aswell as various filamentous fungi that are responsible for severe opportunistic infections accompanying AIDS and the use of immunosuppressive agents.

Adenoregulin (also named Dermaseptin B2) – is a 33 amino acid peptide that interacts with the adenosine receptor, a fundamental component in all human cell fuel and has shown to be very effective in killing cancer cells.

Deltorphin Family – Deltorphin – a heptapeptide, which has a higher affinity and selectivity for delta opioid binding sites than any other natural compound known. Two Deltorphins have been discovered in the secretion of Phyllomedusa Bicolor (Kambo).
